Miki Herkel Cup in Uppsala

Miki Herkel Cup in Uppsala has now passed and it did with mixed feelings. We went there Saturday to play two games against Westra and Mellannorrland. We won both of them quite easy. Sunday we had an early tight game against Skåne that we lost with only a few points. Later Sunday we played against Mellansvenska and won that game which made us end up in semifinals yesterday. The quarter final was played against Stockholm Nord, it was another tight game that we ended up loosing. The game for the 3rd prize was played against Westra and they where also the team that ended up winning the third prize in the tournament.

It's been a pleasure coaching these guys and off course it would have been a great joy to win the whole tournament with this team. But this time we didn't made it all the way. Still we ended up having one of the players selected to the All Star-team. Good job!

We allthough had the chance to be a part of some great basketball and hopefully we all developed in some ways. It's truely a great feeling to be a part of young people developing and reaching their goals.
